co-founder & Project lead

Patricia Putri

Patricia is a researcher and film enthusiast based in Belgium, whose work is shaped by her training in social and cultural anthropology at KU Leuven. Her interests centre on migration, survival, and adaptation, alongside postcolonial and subaltern perspectives—grounded in her Indonesian background and her time living in Japan. Her motivation to lead projects within the Third Glance Collective stems from a belief that film and visual art are not only modes of storytelling, but powerful tools for initiating social change.

She is particularly committed to documentary filmmaking as a means of challenging dominant narratives and brings her experience in project management and development to support emerging artists and writers alike throughout the production process.
